10 straight wins -- a Chiefs record.
We knew this team could be good. They've certainly been showing it the past 11 weeks. Yes I hear about how well they've been playing. Yes I also hear about our flaws, which we all know too well.
One special thing about this game was that it was a late-season Chiefs-Raiders affair in Kansas City shown late on Sunday afternoon. When was the last time that happened? Really, do you know? I mention this because the special thing was getting the feeling I had watching Chiefs-Raiders games in KC late in the season in the late 60's and early 70's, there with my grandfather and rooting for Len Dawson and the rest of those Chiefs. If you're old enough, you know what those were like.
Ahh, this was sweet.
So much to write about regarding this game and all the commensurate playoff things banging around in our psyches right now.
At this time the Broncos-Chargers game is still in doubt, so we don't even yet know who we'll play next week and when we'll play them.
