Chiefs Off-Season Note

Thought I'd pound out a brief post here in the middle of no-football season, even though I happened to see they are having OTAs and all that. Lots of fun checking in every once in a while to see what they're doing in their robust commitment to go back-to-back-to-back. Way too much fun.

The reason for this post is to direct you to a nice video made by "Mr. Pigskin." It is there embedded in the post below. Usually these fanboy videos are insufferable, but this guy is really good, and genuinely entertaining.

And -- it has a lot to do with the Chiefs.

And largely how Patrick Mahomes all by himself has so radically changed the way the NFL is played.

Well, for good reason. I'm going to let the video do the talking, I think you'll like it, but I will say that it is a testament to the way the Chiefs offense with the way Andy Reid has coached (making great major adjustments how about that!) and the players Brett Veach has brought on board putting something of a dent in the way defenses have reinvented themselves after that one quarter of Chiefs football back in 2020.

Can't recall what happened then? It was genuinely amazing, but watch the video and you'll remember. And you'll see that this dude has a solid take on it all.

It did change the game.

The Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes have changed the game, and the crazy thing is they have adapted themselves so well that they've still been in every single AFC Championship game since and still won the last two Super Bowls.

Chiefs Kingdom!!!

(Aaagh, sorry, the YouTube people seem to feel this has too much official NFL stuff in it so it can't be posted on my blog here. But they do graciously offer a link, so there is that.)

The image is an exceptionally well-done All-Time Chiefs print by @woodymlb4 from, yes, 2020, the year Patrick and Tyreek took care of business on the football field. Thank you.
